Here is the video to the theme song for this year’s edition of Ovacom’s annual event, Ovation read carol.
It’s that beautiful season of the year when the good people at Ovation International bring love, joy and hope to Africa through the annual Ovation Red Carol event described as the largest Pan-African Carol Concert. In this brand new Ovation Red Carol theme song, seventeen (17) of Nigeria’s finest voices from the old to the new generation, declare in unison; “Near or far, no matter where you are, love is in the air, Ovation Red Carol is here!”
The song which features Yemi Alade, Ice Prince Zamani, Waje, YQ, Wizkid, Segun Obe, Chidinma, IBK, Eva, Jaywon, Malaika, Shayne, Ugly, Karate Kid, Dipp, Kefee, and Sir Shina Peters can easily pass for a Quincy Jones production for famine in Somalia or for peace in Sudan. The unique blend and fusions of style to deliver a trado-medley effect can best be described with one word, awesome! And who would have thought that OJB produced this great work while critically ill on his hospital bed? Who could have imagined that he actually gave directions to his production assistant on what to do to finish the song should he die suddenly? But such is the passion and devotion that distinguishes great men like OJB and all the artistes who have contributed their time and talent to this noble cause.
Here is the official video of Waje’s ‘So Inspired’ which featured ex- Beauty Queen and rapper, Muna.
Tight job from the ladies, and kudos to the one and only Clarence Peters.
The official video for the Ovation presents Green Christmas is here. Christmas Is Green featuring Tiwa Savage, Waje, Mo’cheddah, General Pype, Jon Ogah, Malaika, Oldsqul and more.
Lovely song, the kinda song that puts you in the right mood for the festive season.

These are two tracks from MI’s MI2,two of my favorite from the album. First is ‘one Naira’. Good stuff from Mr. Incredible and the person I consider the most underrated artiste in Nigeria, WAJE.And the other is a collabo with highlife artiste- Flavour titled number one. Go get the album,it’s worth the pay.

Waje is a phenomenon. An up and coming A-list artist, an incredible songstress whose vocal range covers three octaves. Waje was discovered singing in church. An industrious young lady whom even while in school worked part time in tourism. Her love for humanity drove her towards studying social work in the university which eventually resulted in her over seeing the day to day running of a primary school in Eastern Nigeria. All this she did whilst never losing focus of her main passion, Music.
