He was popularly refered to as the golden son of Africa. Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye, aka Tony Tetuila was a member of the defunct afro-hiphop group THE REMEDIES, which also consisted of Eedris Abdulkareem and Eddy Montana. Tony Tetuila featured in a couple of songs with the group, but at the time the group officially released their album, he had started a solo career. The hit Single My Car was a track off his album My Car. The jam created a major buzz in the naija  music scene, and Africa as a whole.
